A fund raiser for Domestic Violence Program.  Free Admission.

Wick-edly Sent along with "Wild Women", an organization of women that raise funds in the finger lakes region is raising money.  This year it's for Family Counseling Service of the Finger Lakes, Inc.

What is Girls Night Out?

Girls Night Out started when Wick-edly Sent was asked for a donation to the United Way of Ontario County.  Instead of just writing a check, which most other businesses did, Wick-edly Sent decided to make it into an event.  But what kind of event?  It was dead winter of 2005, and Spring was just around the corner.  Scott and Don from Wick-edly Sent decided that a party would be needed for the restless locals of Canandaigua.  And what better way to bring in the Spring after a long winter than a party?

Close to three hundred women came in that night, it was a lovely site!   Wine was in almost everyone's hands, along with snacks, great conversation, and prizes!  The boys at Wick-edly Sent had announced that they would be unveiling a big surprise that night that all of Canandaigua will be talking about.  Thus Cinderella's Shoes and Bags was born, a boutique of shoes and handbags behind Wick-edly Sent.

Last  year, we raised money for another local charity, ONYA, the Ontario Yates Fund for Women, which is a branch of the Women's Foundation of Genesee Valley.  There is more information available at http://www.womensfoundation.org

This year we chose Domestic Violence Program, from Family Counseling Service of the Finger Lakes, Inc.  There will be new Spring and Summer handbags and scarves to choose from!  Ray LaRose, the president from Empire State Footwear will be showcasing new arrivals from designers such as Amanda, Jennifer B, and Marie Bella and GWIZ.  A rep from Kingdom Ventures, a fair trade organization who rescues women from third world countries from sexual slavery by providing them a skill.

There will be Spring Fashions of Shoes, Bags, and Accessories.  Vendors from both will also display a preview of what's Hot for Fall.  There will be giveaways, door prizes, silent auction, and a portion of sales that night will be raised for Domestic Violence Program.

Bring Your Girlfriends!  There will be wine, snacks, and fun!
